Families of Yuggler

Welcome to our blog, the source for news and updates from Yuggler.

“The best thing in my life was, when we visited South Africa again” – “Why again?” – “We used to live there” – “Ok, so what do you like to do with your brother and friends when you’re home?” – “Besides traveling? We like barbecuing, camping, bike tours and so on … as long as it’s outdoors” – “Ok, so what are you doing when it rains?” – “read, play, listen to music or just relax in the hammock!”

“When it’s rainy, my kid likes to go to the museum of natural history” – “Why especially this type of museum?” – “Because there are a lot of things she can touch, and especially the museum of natural history in Berne has always different and new exhibitions and it’s easy to access with the buggy”

“A great experience … definitely the first vacation on the beach with the kid” – “So how do you get the beach feeling when you’re at home?” – “We live next to a big lake. So in the summer we relax in the meadow right in front of it. They also have a small shop, where you can get coffee, food and beverages. As we grew up in this area, we always meet some friends to hang out with”

“My kid’s element is Water” – ”So which activity with water does she like the most?” – “That’s easy, first it was the pool in the children’s hospital, because they have no chlorine and other chemicals. Now we go to our local indoor swimming pool, she is strong enough, but the aqua park might be to big for her”

“Where is your favourite place to spend time with your kids?” – “The Beach” – “When is your favourite time to go?” – “My kids and I love the beach during the summer, but we also spend the day during Spring and Fall. They love to run on the sand and play.”

“Actually we love to make music!” – ”Where do you make music?” – ”We go to this thing called Weltenbummler. It’s right around the corner and also spread all over Switzerland” – ”What can you do there?” – ”The kids and the grown-ups are playing music together in a group for almost one hour. It’s pretty cool because you can watch all these kids increasing self confidence and sometimes one of the kids completely empowers and that’s always a lot of fun.”

“Everyday is awesome!” – “What makes your days so awesome?” – “I doesn’t matter whether we walk up the backyard mountain when it’s sunny outside, play with the chew-chew-train at home on rainy days or riding bikes along the Aare, our local river in Berne.”

“How do you and your children have fun?” – “My kids love spend the day in #NY going in and out of museums.” – “What is their favourite museum?” – “They have a lot of fun posing with wax figures at Madame Tussaud’s!”
